When a DropHaulIt booking fee is refunded, and what happens to the rental after you cancel or the bin is delivered.

Booking fee
A booking fee of $19.99 plus HST is charged when you book. Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled drop-off and that fee is refunded. Cancel inside those 24 hours and the booking fee is kept.
Before the bin is delivered
The rest of the rental is a hold, not a completed charge. If you cancel before the bin is delivered, that hold is released. Your bank may take a few business days to clear the pending amount.
After delivery
Once the bin is delivered, the rental is captured and is not refunded. A rental shorter than 7 days is still priced as the 7-day package, so an earlier pickup does not refund unused days inside that package.
Extra days and weight
If you need the bin longer, tell us by the day before. Extra days are charged at the supplier’s daily rate and collected when the bin is picked up. Weight above the supplier’s included tonnage, and prohibited material, are billed separately.
